Recently I played around a little with the Spring Actionscript Extension (formerly Prana Framework) and built a PureMVC Multicore implementation.

The archive contains a convenient SWC library as well as the source. It is linked against Spring Actionscript extension core 0.7.1 and PureMVC AS3 MultiCore 1.0.5.

The Spring enabled version of the Modularity Demo makes use of a multicore-aware IocFacade for both the app and parts of the CoolWidget Module, see applicationContext-coolwidget.xml for details.

Hi Maz!
Well, I haven’t suggested this to Christophe and Damir for possible inclusion in the official Spring AS extension yet, as I want to clean up a little, get the comments right, release my spring powered PureMVC Pipeworks demo (the modularity demo is quite poor) etc.
Starting with 0.8, the Cairngorm and PureMVC integrations are not part of the core container framework anymore, so we’ll see about that in the upcoming releases.
So I reckon the best thing is to watch the Spring AS forum and this place for updates on the issue.

Hi, thanks for the update - glad to see that those will be removed from the core. Prana has become quite a nightmare in terms of dependencies…
